Kitchen

To start, ensure that you have picked up utensils, crockery, and pots and pans, so that you can begin to prepare your food in there straightaway.
Appliances such as a kettle, toaster and microwave are also important, as you may come to rely on strong cups of coffee when you’re doing your unpacking!
There are a number of white goods you may require, such as a washing machine, fridge/freezer and dishwasher.
Once they’re fitted, they’ll make life a lot easier for you, and you won’t have to rely on takeaways or getting your friends to do your laundry.
Naturally, these larger items can all add up, so before you make several expensive purchases, ensure that you have considered all your financial options carefully in order to afford them.
A dining table and chairs must also be on your list, as they will provide the perfect seating area for you and your guests to dine and catch up. We think it may be time for you to get planning some dinner parties!
Living room
The living room is a place where you can go to relax after a long day, so make sure that you feel comfortable in there with some soft, inviting sofas that are perfect to curl up on.
Coffee tables will come in handy, as will shelves if you need to store items. A good quality pair of curtains will help to maintain your privacy, and floor or table lamps will provide a calming ambience.
If you’re a fan of your shows, you’ll more than likely need a TV too, which can either sit on a stand or be attached to the wall.
Once you have bought your essentials, you can make the place feel more homely with some artwork for the walls.
Bedroom
This is the place you can go to when you want to escape. Treat yourself to a luxurious mattress, solid bedframe, sturdy wardrobe, chest of drawers and pretty bedside lamps.
Don’t forget your soft bedding, fluffy pillows and a good duvet for the ultimate night’s sleep, too.
